Today we took Emily to the Dentist to get 2 teeth pulled. What was supposed to be an easy procedure turned into 3 hours of tugging, filing, splitting teeth in half and not to mention tons of tears and of course...getting sick and throwing up on the Dentist. As Emily said...PAYBACK! Poor Emily had a hard day, so to make up for her pain she is living off of milk shakes and jello, that sure eases the pain. She is very swollen and the Dentist said she may even have two black eyes by morning. The Dentist said in her 25 years of practice she has never seen a case like this. The roots of Emily's baby teeth fused to her permanent teeth, so to get them out they had to cut her teeth in half and pull them out in pieces. It was a hard process to watch, and for her to endure.
